The Whole Hog Café and Catering Company competes on the Memphis-in-May and the Kansas City Barbeque Society Barbeque Championship Circuits as the Southern Gentlemen's Culinary Society.
Whole Hog Café proprietors Ron Blasingame, Mike "Sarge" Davis, and Mike Blasingame are the founding members of the Plate of ChickenSouthern Gentlemen, whose outstanding Whole Hog won First Place in the 2002 Memphis-in-May World Barbeque Championship.
The same award-winning recipes are prepared each day at the Whole Hog Café. Ron and Sarge are certified Memphis-in-May and Kansas City Barbeque Society barbeque judges.
